Our Legacy: A Journey Through Time
Our story began in 1935 when our patriarch, Ullal Hari Nayak, affectionately known as Ullal Appa, seized the opportunity to enter the Burmese rice trade. Following his passing in 1944, his sons, Ullal Vaman Nayak and Radhakrishna Nayak, ensured the continuity of our family legacy by pivoting to the flourishing Supari market during India’s transformative years of independence.
Over the years, we evolved from traders to pivotal players in the spice economy, cultivating deep relationships that were the backbone of our success.

In addition to spices, we are embracing a new venture into interior design, turnkey projects, and construction through our evolving brand, Varna – Spreading Colors.
